Tell me about yourself? Hi, my name is Alexandria also known as Dria. I am from Miami, Florida and I am a aspiring fashion stylist. I am truly myself when I am creating and putting pieces of clothes together for a client or even friends. Fashion has no limit that’s why its everlasting, you can be heard without speaking and that’s what I love about it.
What or whom inspired you to choose the beauty field? My grandmother had a big impact on my childhood. I used to watch her sew everything from clothes to curtains for the house. I never took the time to learn which I regret because that could have been something that we could of shared together, because she was amazing at it. Growing up I wanted to be like her, she looked so beautiful to me, with her nails and make-up always done. Growing up I was never under a size ten so I had to learn how to own my curves and take the time to find clothes that made me feel good in my skin. After getting so many complements from family and strangers, I knew that I wanted to help people boost their self-confidence with clothes.

When did you decide to make this your career? I actually took this passion of stylizing serious a year ago. I had a high school friend that is a photographer contact me to work on some projects with her. After seeing how the magic came to life, I realized that I really do have an eye for stylizing. Before this, I was stylizing my friends for events.
What school did you attend? I attended Broward College for my associate’s degree and I am currently attending FAU for my bachelor in marketing.

Have you had a unsatisfied customer and how did you deal with them? Thankfully, I haven’t had a unsatisfied customer. If I do come across one, I will be willing to change anything they may not like to make them feel comfortable. When it comes down to it, I am here to make you feel good in your own skin.
How would you rate the quality of your work on a scale of 1 to 10? I will always be a student in this fashion world and want to elevate to the next level. When I work with a client, I always do my best with the situation that is in hand. It doesn’t matter if the clothes are name brand or from the thrift store I can make everyone feel like a 10.
How do you believe you can improve on your work? Simply by working more and getting more clients. Everyone has a different sense of style so by working more I can really push myself and see that I have no limits.

What motivates you to keep going? My family and friends really motivate me. They are a great support team and I couldn’t do it without them.
